The Safari Energy team is currently comprised of 16 dedicated professionals with deep experience in renewable energy project development, real estate, structured finance, solar design/engineering, and construction. The team is divided roughly evenly between business development/finance and operations.
The operations team is composed of individuals with nearly 100 years of collective construction and project development expertise. The design team, whose backgrounds are in solar and electrical engineering, create the system design and manage the engineering process. The procurement team purchases and manages the delivery of all system components. The project managers manage the permitting, oversee the electrical, mechanical and roofing crews with daily on-site presence, and interface with the utilities and townships.
We do not employ sales people at Safari. The systems we develop require a complex understanding of financial, legal, tax, energy, roofing, tenant, technology, and other issues. As such, our Business Development / Finance team all come from finance backgrounds with specialties in energy or real estate, where they worked on highly complex transactions for large sophisticated customers. The team is focused on providing flexible, value enhanced solutions, leveraging the unique, financial, technical and operational expertise of Safari.
