Our cutomers' generate power
for the grid in the day, then rely on energy
from the grid at night. To handle this give and take, our customers' electricity meters can spin both forward and backward.
Excess solar energy produced during the day roughly equals energy drawn from the grid at night.
Net Metering is available in 44 states and D.C. System size limits vary by state. For example, NJ and MD both allow up to 2 MW per site, while NH allows only 0.1 MW.
